Hey Ryan, it's Pete Buttigieg.

With all of the disturbing things happening in our politics, government, and society right now, I'm worried that Americans are beginning to accept this as the way things will be, no matter what. 

In other words, I'm worried that too many Americans are underestimating their own power. 

We are, obviously, witnessing a profound series of tests of our democracy, and the day-to-day results have been mixed at best. 

Even so, it is vital to remember that a majority of the American people are not on board with all this - and that the American people are still in charge. 

When we organize, step up, speak out, and demand better, we can change the course of history.

I'm proud of what we've already done together, and grateful for your continued support. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps fuel this work and allows us to show rather than tell how politics in this country can be different.
