Janet Mills' Decision - Graham Platner

Governor Janet Mills just announced she is suspending her campaign for U.S. Senate here in Maine. The Governor has dedicated her career to the people of Maine, and we are all eternally grateful for her service to our state. 

We both got into this race because we knew how critical defeating Susan Collins is. And her decision today reflects that commitment. I look forward to working with her between now and November to do just that.

I am facing down over $42 million in Super PAC attacks, though. We're on pace to be outspent 5-to-1 on TV next week in critical parts of the state unless we raise additional funds right now.

Susan Collins is the most vulnerable Republican senator in the entire country. Every path to a blue Senate goes straight through Maine.
