When we first ran for Congress, we were both underdogs. He was 25 running against career politicians, and I was challenging a 10-term incumbent. 
But we won, because we knew the same old organizing wouldn't elect a new generation of leadership.
To reach new voters, you need to get creative. That's what Maxwell's doing with his music and arts festival, MadSoul Fest, and I'm so excited to be a headliner this year!
He's using music and fun to engage new, young voters ahead of next year's elections. And that's more important than ever right now.
This isn't the only way Maxwell is transforming organizing. He's organizing year-round, reaching new and young voters at concerts, college campuses, and outreach events.
