My name is Elaine Luria. I'm a Navy veteran, former Congresswoman, Democrat, mother, and now, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗔-𝟬𝟮.

I always knew I wanted to serve my country.
I joined the Navy when I was 17 years old and served for 20 years. After I retired, I couldn't shake the desire to do more.
So I ran for Congress in 2018 and flipped VA-02 blue. I was re-elected in 2020 and served on the January 6th Committee to uphold law and order.
But my work on the committee, and an onslaught of MAGA cash, may have cost me a third term in the most competitive House district in the country.
I don't regret a thing. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗜'𝗺 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱.
VA-02 is rated a Toss-Up by Cook Political Report and Sabato's Crystal Ball - this will be one of the most competitive races in the entire country.
